Denise Goldbeck,
PhD cand. DipC, RCC, AAMFT
A developmental psychologist with a performing arts background, Denise has been working with children and their families for over 25 years. She has created a unique program for children and teens of all ages where participants learn about their own development while engaging in a fun non-threatening performing arts experience. She has a private practice in the Lower Mainland of B.C. specializing in family and child therapy. A member of three faculties, she teaches psychology to aspiring therapists. >More Info
Mackenzie Dickson
Mackenzie is a psychology student at U.B.C. who is interested in child development and family therapy. He has attended Kids in the Spotlight since 1997 (when he was 8 years old). Mackenzie is a trained life guard and swimming instructor who has worked at many camps through the West Vancouver Recreation and Aquatic Centres to gain valuable leadership qualities. He has completed every facet of the program, from small roles as a young participant to leading the entire group, with grace and poise. Very talented with people, including children, Mackenzie has become indispensable to Denise and is now her assistant. He now heads up a team of interns in the youth intern program who are all participating in the on-going training in group leading and facilitation. >More Info
